The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Technical Specialist to contribute to our software engineering space and provide critical skills required for the development of cutting-edge products.   As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more. You will be a leader – contributing knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills. Your leadership will be demonstrated in your work, to your customers, and within your teams. You’ll be the go-to person for problem-solving of customers’ business and technical issues. Your aim throughout, is to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services through the use of technology and technical methods and methodologies. Driving the design, development, integration, delivery, and evolution of highly scalable distributed software you will integrate with other layers and offerings. You will provide deeper functionality and solutions to address customer needs. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to get high-quality products and features through the agile software development lifecycle. Your continuous grooming of features/user stories to estimate, identify technical risks/dependencies and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders will ensure the features are delivered with the right quality and within timeline. You will maintain and drive the clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of the 3rd party components within the product. As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will also coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture. Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in application architecture and development.

• Strong expertise in designing and developing custom applications using modern technologies & on cloud native applications on AWS.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, or Go.

• Experience with microservices architecture, Serverless, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.

• Expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, and more.

• Lead the migration of on-premises applications to AWS, including re-platforming and refactoring

• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to design patterns and coding standards.

• Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of AWS-based applications.

• Implement DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

• Hands-on experience in designing high-availability and disaster recovery strategies in AWS.

• Deep knowledge of application security, authentication, and data protection and also in AWS platform.

• Hands-on experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

• Ensure best practices in software development, security, and cloud adoption

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet), and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and ELK Stack.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

• Certified in TOGAF Certified Architect and AWS Solution Architect Professional

 Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Developing and articulating points of view and thought leadership with client executives.

• Defining technical requirements and designing technical architecture components.

• Participating in detailed design and code reviews.

• Ability to identify inefficiencies through readiness assessments and develop strategies to optimize the implementation of cloud resources and capabilities

• Experience in creating high and detailed level designs, conducting peer reviews, and developing target state architectures

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Previous experience in a DevOps role or related field.

• Understanding the latest architecture, technology, solutions, and industry trends

• Experience in AI/ML, IoT, or Big Data solutions on AWS.

• Knowledge of industry compliance standards like HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.

• Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps.
