Engineer- SCM Out sourcing

Purpose -The position is responsible for managing outsource project works, vendors, contractors etc. to align strategy as per company outsource work and get it manufactured from suppliers.

• To coordinate outsource projects task between Procurement, Engineering, Quality and operations to provide suppliers the required material for the projects.
• To reduce manufacture lead time and increase profit and save time.
• To understand all manufacturing process and awareness about the level 2, level 3 quality assurance certification
• To maintain and manage outsource data analysis in terms of scope, budget, cost, trend etc.
• Knowledge of interpretation of codes & standards like ASME, ASNT, PED & ISO.
• Knowledge of welding and related process.
• Maintain records of tests reports, test Certification etc. at vendor end.
• To assist in preparing technical construction fill (TCF).
• To timely coordinate with internal functions of purchase, quality, design, stores.
• To coordinate with purchase as well as all vendors / suppliers where the job are outsourced.
• To conduct trails of equipments wherever necessary.
• To monitoring vendors process as per KMIPL quality assurance policy (QAP)
• To maintain inspection records of component level as well as assembly level and make stage wise inspection at vendor end.
• To expedite the manufacturing activities at vendor end.
• To coordinate with planning and SCM team for the execution of all the allocated projects
• To prepare vendor wise weekly production progress status report.
• To highlight any issues causing delay in operation and suggest corrective action at vendor end
• Analyze vendor wise manufacturing conversion data and prepare periodically reports
• To Visit Vendor / supplier site to ensure our-sourced job should be done within timeframe.

8+ years of professional experience in Quality cum Expedition engineer preferably fabrication, Production department in Manufacturing industry. Minimum 4 years of total experience as an Mechanical Engineer in Manufacturing industry
