Assistant Manager - Indirect Pirchase

Role & responsibilities

• Purchasing of capital equipment, CNC machines” and “assembly lines” for new program launches.
• SAP know –how, creation of PO thru’ SAP, report generation for MIS preparation.
• Active participation in building the Purchase department systems and team
• On-time procurement of plant machinery and other items for the manufacturing plant.
• Creation of a supplier data base for factory purchase i.e. consumables, stationery, HR /Admin service contracts
• Establishing of competitive price levels (backed by price comparison)
• Implementation of professional purchase methodologies with quantifiable trainings to subordinates and colleagues.
• Exposure to direct purchasing, commodities like- turned, casting (PDC), stamping

Preferred candidate profile

• Negotiation skills: with an ability influence in broad areas from cost savings and contract agreements SCM support Management: Inco terms, freight and forwarding logistics know how
• Relationship management: with your suppliers, internal partners, and management key stakeholders
• Knowledge of mechanical component Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
