Lead Engineer/ Assistant Manager - FEA

Role & responsibilities

• Proposing independent solutions of mechanical and thermal calculations area with the help of numerical analysis (FEA) including knowledge of fatigue analysis and design optimization
• Proposing independent solutions with the help of numerical analysis (FEA) in the area of structural analysis, vibration/dynamic analysis and thermal analysis
• Working closely with FEA Group Leader, sharing regular updates of projects/activities and follow directions/SOPs
• Handing over FEA calculation tasks from local Simulation team to Simulation team in Neuss, Germany or to internal local customers
• Coordinating and chairing necessary job/task clarification meetings
• Work with a team of design engineers and test engineers for various product areas
• Should have an exposure to correlation of simulation results with test results in the respective areas of CFD/FEA

Preferred candidate profile

• FEA software experience on any of these tools: Ansys, Abaqus, HyperMesh, ANSA
• Engineering and analytical skills, project planning, execution, communication, technical innovation and creativity
• Communication and handling projects with Designers and PM-Ds
