Job Summary: We are looking for a Technical Illustrator with 24 years of experience in aerospace technical illustration, particularly for military aircraft documentation. The candidate should be skilled in using IsoDraw, AutoCAD, and MS Office to create detailed illustrations for technical manuals (IPC, AMM, SRM, CMM, etc.).
Key Responsibilities: Develop high-quality isometric and orthographic illustrations for military aircraft documentation. Create and update illustrations for IPC, AMM, CMM, SRM, and avionics manuals. Work closely with Technical Authors, SMEs, and engineers to understand aircraft components and systems. Convert engineering drawings and 3D models into technical illustrations. Ensure consistency and accuracy of illustrations per aviation documentation standards. Utilize Isodraw, AutoCAD, and MS Office for technical drawings and documentation. Maintain a structured repository of illustrations and graphics for reuse.C3 Ensure compliance with aerospace and military documentation guidelines.
Required Skills: Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, avionics, and mechanical systems. Proficiency in IsoDraw, AutoCAD, and MS Office tools. Experience in technical illustration for aerospace technical manuals. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and component specifications. Good understanding of aerospace documentation standards (S1000D, ATA iSpec 2200). Excellent collaboration skills to work with authors, engineers, and technical teams.
