We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchase Manager to oversee and manage procurement operations within the food industry. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality food products, raw materials, and packaging supplies while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to food safety standards.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor stock levels and plan for seasonal demand fluctuations.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure procured products comply with quality and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI, FDA).
- Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with hygiene and regulatory standards.
- Budget and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the procurement budget to achieve cost efficiency.
- Monitor market trends to secure competitive pricing and forecast cost changes.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance based on key metrics like quality, delivery timelines, and pricing.
- Sustainability and Compliance:
- Promote sustainable sourcing practices to align with organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical procurement standards.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and inventory levels.
Benefits - Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Purchase Manager, preferably in the food industry.
