Job Overview

Our Client is seeking an experienced Microsoft developer to deliver training on GitHub Copilot to our development teams. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled developer with extensive practical experience using GitHub Copilot and a passion for sharing knowledge. This role demands expertise in leveraging GitHub Copilot to enhance developer productivity and align with our operational goals. The training will follow a pre-designed curriculum and workshop materials.

Role & responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective GitHub Copilot training sessions based on a provided curriculum. This includes instructor-led training, hands-on exercises, and Q&A sessions.
• Maintain a strong understanding of GitHub Copilot's features, capabilities, best practices, and its integration with various IDEs (specifically Visual Studio).
• Guide developers on best coding practices, ensuring they utilize GitHub Copilot effectively to enhance productivity and code quality while adhering to our coding standards.
• Address participant questions and concerns; adapt training to meet the varied skill levels within the groups.
• Provide post-workshop support to participants, addressing any follow-up questions or challenges faced.
• Track training metrics (e.g., participant feedback, completion rates) and provide regular updates to management.
• Stay current with the latest GitHub Copilot updates, features, and best practices, updating training materials as needed.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our training materials.
