Job Description

Intern to Hire / Contract to Hire / Full-time

About the Role

1. Innovate & Design: Create and refine IoT solutions and devices, turning ideas into reality through prototypes and feasibility studies.
2. Integrate & Program: Seamlessly integrate sensors and actuators, ensuring smooth communication between devices for optimal functionality.
3. Connect & Manage: Establish robust wireless networks, managing connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.) and ensuring secure, efficient data flow.
4. Secure: Implement top-notch security measures to protect devices and data, staying ahead of cybersecurity threats.
5. Analyze & Optimize: Harness data analytics to enhance system performance and functionality, making data-driven decisions.
6. Cloud Compute & Store: Leverage cloud platforms for scalable data storage and processing, managing IoT services and platforms.
7. Maintain & Troubleshoot: Keep systems running smoothly with ongoing maintenance and sharp troubleshooting skills.
8. Document & Comply: Ensure all IoT solutions meet industry standards and best practices with thorough documentation.

Requirements

Embedded Genius: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience [1+ year of experience is preferred]. Proficiency in microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266/ESP32) and understanding of embedded systems.
Coding Prodigy: Strong skills in C, C++ or Python, and experience with embedded software development.
Network Navigator: Knowledge of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee) and protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP).
Security Sentinel: A keen focus on IoT security, encryption, and secure protocols to keep our devices and data safe is a plus.
Data Dynamo: Ability to process and analyze data from IoT devices, driving improvements with insights.
Cloud Conductor: Familiarity with AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT, and managing cloud-based IoT services is a plus.
Problem Solver: Creative and analytical thinking to tackle technical challenges and find effective solutions.
Communicator: Excellent verbal and written skills to convey complex concepts to any audience.
Team Collaborator: Thriving in diverse teams, adapting to different dynamics and styles.
Adaptable & Resilient: Embracing change, learning new technologies, and bouncing back from setbacks.
Detail-Oriented: Precision in code, testing, and documentation, spotting potential issues early.
