Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
1. ERP BPC System Implementation & Support :
- Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP BPC for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise in BPC modules (Planning, Consolidation, and Reporting) and integration with other ERP modules like SAP FICO and SAP BW.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver system solutions to optimize financial reporting and planning activities.
2. Process Optimization & Enhancements :
- Analyze business processes related to financial planning and reporting, identifying areas for improvement and optimization within the SAP BPC system.
- Configure and customize BPC models, forms, and reports to meet business requirements.
- Develop and implement enhancements to existing BPC applications, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and objectives.
3. System Integration & Data Management :
- Integrate BPC with other enterprise systems such as SAP ERP, SAP BW, or third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
- Manage data migrations, transformations, and data mapping processes between SAP BPC and other ERP modules.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within BPC and across integrated systems.
4. User Training & Support :
- Provide end-user support for issues related to BPC, addressing questions and troubleshooting system related problems.
- Conduct training sessions for business users on SAP BPC functionality, best practices, and system updates.
- Assist in the preparation of training materials and user manuals for the BPC system.
5. Reporting & Documentation :
- Design, develop, and maintain customized financial reports, dashboards, and planning models in BPC to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all financial planning and consolidation reports are accurate and reflect the latest system configurations.
- Document and update BPC configurations, changes, and enhancements to maintain a comprehensive record for audit and future reference.
6. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams :
- Work closely with finance, IT, and business teams to define system requirements, gather feedback, and implement improvements to the BPC solution.
- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and technical teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of enhancements and new features.
- Participate in regular project status meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
7. Testing and Quality Assurance :
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing for any new developments, customizations, or upgrades to the BPC system.
- Ensure the system functions as expected and meets business requirements before deployment.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and testing processes to ensure BPC remains up-to-date and fully functional.
8. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices :
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features, tools, and best practices in SAP BPC and ERP solutions.
- Propose new ideas and strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of SAP BPC.
- Drive process improvements across financial planning, budgeting, and consolidation processes to align with industry standards.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ERP BPC Analyst or SAP BPC Consultant, with a strong focus on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation using SAP BPC.
- SAP Knowledge : Strong hands-on experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), including configuration, customization, and implementation.
- Technical Skills : Experience with SAP BW, SAP FICO, and SQL for data extraction and reporting. Familiarity with Excel-based reports and BPC EPM Add-in is a plus.
- Certifications : SAP BPC or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools and dashboards.
- Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies experience.
- Leadership or mentoring experience, guiding junior team members in BPC development and best practices.
