We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accounts/Finance Controller to lead our finance team at Bharuch. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth.
2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
4. MIS Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports to support business decision-making.
5. Costing Systems: Maintain and update costing systems, including standard costing, job costing, and activity-based costing.
6. Cost Control: Analyze and report on cost variances, and implement cost control measures.
7. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
8. Data Management: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
9. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
10. Accounting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
11. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of accountants, finance professionals, and support staff.
12. Audits and Reviews: Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, reviews, and financial examinations.
13. Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and credit risks.
14. Funding and Financing: Explore and secure funding opportunities, including loans, grants, and investments.
15. Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to drive business growth.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
3. Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and financial analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific financial regulations and standards.
