Job Title: Deputy General Manager Quality (Head)
Reporting to: Director
Location: Daman/Vapi
Job Purpose:
Head overall quality function for 2 plants
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ).
2. Should have knowledge to Implement Systems such as: Food Safety and Quality Assurance procedures in accordance with - ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards, Sedex certification, Amfori - FSC - US CT-PAT, and BRC
3. Establish quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods inspections.
4. Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and potential issues.
5. Lead the implementation of corrective action plans (CAPA) to address quality deviations.
6. Ensuring complete in-process quality control and continuous improvement in process capabilities
7. Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to quality systems
1. Conduct regular internal quality audits, Process audit, and Product audit to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
2. Oversee supplier quality management, including vendor qualification and monitoring.
3. Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality specifications during manufacturing processes.
4. Lead & review supplier performance level with onsite inspection
1. Lead, manage and resolve queries of the team of QA, QC
2. Provide training and development opportunities for the quality team to enhance their technical knowledge and skills.
3. Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
1. Expert in investigating and resolving customer complaint through root cause analysis - Hosts periodic customer visits, Interaction with customer and closure of complaints, Effective CAPA and closure of customer complaints, Manages customer complaint process
2. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction with product quality
1. Ensure all quality policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable industry regulations and standards related to packaging materials and finished goods.
Required Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills (Preferred/Essential)

BE/B.Sc (Printing & Packaging/Polymer/Plastic ) – Essential
MBA /PG (Preferred)
