Technology Consulting-TE SAP-MM Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Technology Consulting team, specializing in SAP Materials Management (MM) . In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing SAP MM-related projects, providing expert guidance on SAP MM implementations, optimizations, and transformations, and delivering high-quality solutions to clients in various industries. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding client organizations through their SAP MM journeys, helping them streamline procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP MM Strategy & Advisory: Lead the development and execution of SAP MM strategies for clients, advising on best practices, system optimization, and transformation opportunities. Assess business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions that enhance procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.

• SAP MM Implementation & Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of SAP MM solutions, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely delivery of SAP MM initiatives.

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of consultants and junior staff members. Provide technical guidance, career development opportunities, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the SAP MM practice.

• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with client stakeholders, including procurement, supply chain, IT, and senior leadership teams, to ensure alignment on business objectives and SAP MM solutions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

• Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Assess and optimize clients’ procurement and supply chain processes by leveraging SAP MM capabilities. Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements that drive efficiencies, cost savings, and operational excellence.

• Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of SAP MM solutions, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and alignment with client business needs. Ensure that SAP MM modules integrate seamlessly with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP WM, SAP PP) and third-party systems.

• Change Management & Training: Guide clients through the change management process associated with SAP MM transformations. Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and user documentation to ensure successful adoption of SAP MM solutions by client teams.

• Innovation & Best Practices: Stay current with the latest trends, features, and innovations in SAP MM and the broader SAP ecosystem. Proactively recommend and implement new features or solutions that can help clients achieve a competitive advantage in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

• Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with SAP MM implementations. Resolve technical and functional issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the project and client operations.

• Client Engagement & Business Development: Build strong client relationships, identify opportunities for additional SAP services, and contribute to business development efforts. Work with sales and business development teams to propose SAP MM solutions and drive new opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP MM consulting or implementation, with a strong track record of managing large-scale SAP MM projects and leading teams.
• Deep expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) module, including key processes such as procurement, inventory management, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP MM integrations with other SAP modules (such as SAP SD, SAP WM, SAP PP) and third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes , supply chain management , and inventory control in various industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, consumer goods).
• Project management skills , with experience managing end-to-end SAP MM implementations, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.
• Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring a team of consultants and junior staff.
• Client management and stakeholder engagement experience, with the ability to manage senior-level relationships and effectively communicate complex SAP solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with agile methodologies and SAP project lifecycle management (from blueprinting to post-go-live support).

Preferred Skills:

• SAP Certification in Materials Management (SAP MM) or related SAP certifications.
• Experience with SAP Ariba or other procurement solutions integrated with SAP MM.
• Knowledge of supply chain optimization tools, advanced analytics , and data-driven decision-making within the SAP ecosystem.
• Change management experience, including leading client teams through significant process transformations.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and SAP Cloud Platform .
• Experience in business development and contributing to sales efforts, including identifying new opportunities for SAP MM services.
