Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager to join our Technology Consulting team. In this role, you will work with clients across industries to deliver innovative technology solutions that drive business transformation. You will play a key role in helping organizations solve complex challenges, optimize their technology investments, and implement strategic initiatives. As an Assistant Manager, you will manage client relationships, lead project teams, and provide expertise in areas such as IT strategy, digital transformation, cloud solutions, enterprise architecture, and process optimization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on clients’ technology strategies while advancing your career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and technology challenges. Cultivate strong, long-term client relationships by providing high-quality consulting services and delivering value-driven solutions.

  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology consulting projects. Manage project teams, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and project team members.

  • Technology Strategy & Advisory: Assist clients in developing and refining their technology strategies. Provide expertise on digital transformation, cloud adoption, IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and technology innovation. Advise on the integration of new technologies to optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Solution Design & Implementation: Work with clients to design and implement tailored technology solutions that align with business objectives. Oversee the technical implementation and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient.

  • Process Optimization & Change Management: Help clients optimize their business processes and adopt best practices for technology adoption. Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and effective utilization of new systems and technologies.

  • Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with the latest technology trends, tools, and best practices. Leverage this knowledge to provide insights into emerging technologies and industry-specific innovations that can benefit clients.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure that technology solutions are effectively implemented and aligned with broader business goals.

  • Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and address potential risks associated with technology solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and best practices. Provide risk mitigation strategies and solutions to minimize client exposure to operational and security risks.

  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear, concise reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients, translating technical concepts into business terms. Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in consulting processes, methodologies, and tools. Actively contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and support the growth of the consulting practice.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in technology consulting, with a strong background in advising clients on IT strategy, digital transformation, cloud solutions, enterprise architecture, or business process optimization.
  • Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture , cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, blockchain).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise software implementation (e.g., ERP, CRM) and technology integrations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement technology strategies that align with client business goals and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Experience in process optimization and change management, with the ability to guide clients through technology adoption and transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to think critically and offer innovative solutions to client challenges.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in relevant technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect , Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert , Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) , or similar.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience managing projects using agile frameworks.
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP BI) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience in integrating security into technology solutions.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills , with the ability to engage clients, influence stakeholders, and lead diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills , with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-focused approach , with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and building lasting client relationships.
  • Proactive attitude , with a focus on continuous learning and personal development.
  • Team player , with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and work in a team-oriented environment.
