Job Description
- Primary skills - Alteryx Power BI
- Secondary skills - SQL
- The candidate will build tax applications for tax clients to automate complex processes in direct and indirect taxes.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in Alteryx
- Proficiency in creating Alteryx apps and gallery-oriented workflows.
- Must have working experience with developing PowerBI dashboards.
- Strong understanding of one or more databases (SQL, MySQL, Mongo DB, etc.)
- Experience in Power BI dashboard development and administration
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in Alteryx and Power BI will be a plus.
- A degree in commerce background is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Alteryx to extract, transform, and load data from ERP and various sources.
- Create, update, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI with different data sources like SQL, Oracle, Excel, Azure Synapse, etc. to visualize and communicate key metrics and trends.
- Full understanding of data cleansing, transformation, and quality processes using ETL tools like Alteryx and Power query.
- Able to write complex queries with multiple joins to automate/manipulate data with Alteryx.
- Must be advanced in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to nested formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, excel modeling, and preparing reports and dashboards.
- Will have to work in partnership with the other IT teams and stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes.
