Technology Consulting-DT CloudSec-Architecture design

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Consulting - DT CloudSec - Architecture Design professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize secure cloud architectures that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. As a senior member of the team, you will leverage your expertise in cloud security and architecture design to guide organizations through complex cloud transformations, helping them secure their digital infrastructure and optimize for performance, scalability, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Security Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of secure cloud architectures, leveraging leading cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to meet business requirements while ensuring the highest standards of security, compliance, and scalability.

• Consulting & Advisory: Work directly with clients to understand their business needs and translate these into secure cloud architecture strategies. Provide expert advice on the selection of cloud services, security controls, and architectural patterns that mitigate risk while optimizing performance.

• Security Frameworks & Best Practices: Develop cloud security strategies based on industry frameworks and best practices, such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework , ISO 27001 , and CIS Controls . Ensure the security architecture is aligned with client-specific regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

• Cloud Migration & Transformation: Assist clients in the migration of existing workloads to the cloud, ensuring that security is integrated throughout the process. Design secure cloud environments that support application modernizations and transformations, ensuring minimal risk during the transition.

• Risk Management & Threat Modeling: Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats within the cloud environment and design mitigation strategies to protect cloud infrastructure. Lead threat modeling exercises and provide recommendations for securing cloud-based workloads.

• Cloud Security Solutions Implementation: Guide the implementation of security solutions across the cloud environment, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, network security, logging and monitoring, and incident response.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that cloud architectures and security practices align with broader business objectives. Provide guidance on the integration of security controls into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Cloud Governance & Compliance: Ensure that cloud environments meet compliance and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement governance models to ensure continuous monitoring, auditing, and enforcement of security policies across cloud environments.

• Security Automation: Implement and promote security automation tools and practices, such as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), to improve security posture and streamline security operations within cloud environments.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest cloud security trends, tools, and technologies. Continuously recommend improvements to cloud security practices and architectures to ensure clients remain resilient against evolving threats.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, technology consulting, or enterprise security, with a strong background in designing and implementing secure cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and their respective security services and tools.
• Extensive experience with cloud security principles such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, threat detection, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS) and experience integrating these into cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, Prisma Cloud, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps , continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and securing the cloud-native application lifecycle.
• Expertise in risk management techniques, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and cloud security incident response.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex cloud security challenges.

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud certifications , such as AWS Certified Security Specialty , Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate , Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer , or equivalent.
• Certifications in security such as CISSP , CISA , CISM , or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) .
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform , CloudFormation , or Ansible to automate security controls.
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes security , including securing containerized environments and securing Kubernetes clusters in cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in cloud-native security and securing microservices-based architectures, APIs, and serverless environments.
• Strong understanding of network security in the cloud, including virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, and zero-trust architectures.

• Excellent communication skills , with the ability to explain complex cloud security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
• Leadership and mentorship experience, with the ability to lead security projects and guide junior team members.
• Collaborative mindset , able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud architecture decisions support business objectives.
