Sr. Test Engineer Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our team, specializing in Infotainment and Connected Car Services. In this role, you will be responsible for manually executing pre-defined test cases, designing and documenting new test cases, and automating test cases to enhance testing efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including feature owner and test lead, to ensure infotainment and connected car solutions meet requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manual test execution • Understand test benches and flash the Android based IVI bench including few adjacent ECUs, able perform flashing/coding/configuration depending on model/region etc. • Analyze and improve existing test cases • Book test benches as per execution plan • Manually execute planned test cases using benches • For any bug, raise the defect including debug logs, traces, exact steps to reproduce, actual vs expected results etc. • Create test results in code-beamer, update status in JIRA tickets 2. Test Case Design and Documentation • Identify new test cases using various test design techniques like boundary value analysis, concurrent use cases etc. • Document test cases clearly and comprehensively, following industry best practices 3. Test Automation • Analyze existing test cases and decide whether it automatable using existing automation framework, for any gaps share improvements in the framework • Develop test scripts in Python using existing automation framework • Stabilize and execute automation scripts Mandatory Skills: - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject

- Strong understanding of manual and automated testing principles and defect lifecycle management - 3 to 6 years of experience in testing infotainment, preferably with Android based IVI and connected services - Strong experience in test automation framework like Robot, Cucumber, selenium etc. - Experience in script development using Python, image processing using OpenCV, SOMEIP, Ethernet, CAN, LIN, ADB, Appium - Experience with SCM tools such as GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins - Exposure to testing tools and hardware such as CANoe, Vector tools etc. - Hands on experience on DOORs, JIRA, code-beamer, Confluence etc. - Experience with SCM tools such as GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins - Top-notch teamwork and communication skills and a strong problem solver - Creative, disciplined, strong sense of responsibility to delivery result to meet schedule and commitment - Familiarity with infotainment systems, Bluetooth, Media, Tuner, Wi-Fi, GPS, and smartphone integration (e.g., Android Auto, Apple CarPlay) Desired Skills - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies of project management - Experience in automotive, embedded systems, or IoT domains - Awareness of software testing standards automotive SPICE (desirable) - ISTQB or equivalent certification
