Test Leader

1. Ownership & Leadership of Testing Activities -

• Take complete ownership of estimation, test planning, execution, and reporting for assigned modules • Ensure end-to-end quality assurance by proactively identifying potential risks and resolving quality issues. • Act as the single point of contact for all testing-related queries within the assigned scope • Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to align on quality objectives and deliverables • Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for manual and automated testing • Promote a quality-first mindset across the development and validation teams

2. Manual test execution

• Understand test benches and flash the Android based IVI bench including few adjacent ECUs, able perform flashing/coding/configuration depending on model/region etc. • Analyze and improve existing test cases • Book test benches as per execution plan • For any bug, raise the defect including debug logs, traces, exact steps to reproduce, actual vs expected results etc. • Create test results in code-beamer, update status in JIRA tickets

3. Test Case Design and Documentation

• Identify new test cases using various test design techniques like boundary value analysis, concurrent use cases etc. • Document test cases clearly and comprehensively, following industry best practices • Review test cases identified by team members or other module's team members

4. Test Automation

• Analyze existing test cases and decide whether it is automatable using existing automation framework, for any gaps share improvements in the framework • Develop test scripts in Python using existing automation framework • Stabilize and execute automation scripts • Review automation test scripts developed by team members or other's module's team members
