Job Summary:

KP Green Engineering Limited is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement / Purchase Executive / Engineer with an engineering background to manage the procurement of consumable items required for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing skills, negotiation capabilities, and a solid understanding of the supply chain processes specific to a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end procurement of consumable materials (tools, PPEs, welding rods, gas, cutting tools, grinding wheels, lubricants, etc.)
  
• Identify reliable vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships
  
• Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and finalize cost-effective deals
  
• Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules
  
• Coordinate with stores, maintenance, and production departments to monitor stock levels
  
• Follow up on pending orders and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or documentation
  
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and inventory control systems
  
• Negotiate with vendors for optimum pricing and credit terms
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
  
• Evaluate supplier performance periodically based on quality, pricing, and delivery
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial or relevant field)
  
• 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement/purchase, specifically of consumable items in a manufacturing industry
  
• Good knowledge of local and national vendors
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP knowledge preferred)
  
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
