Kotak Mahindra - Associate - Real Estate Investment (3-5 yrs)

Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited (KAAML), part of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited ("Group"), focuses on the Alternate Assets business of the Group and manages ~USD 18bn in AUM

Key Responsibilities :

1. Thorough analysis of investment opportunity which shall include financial models preparation, sector analysis, real estate trend analysis in the micro-market

2. Producing accurate financial models for assessing the investment opportunity

3. Preparation of Investment committee presentations, Investor updates presentations and any other presentations / thesis as and when required by LPs / senior management

4. Preparation of term sheets and supporting senior team members in documents finalization

5. Assisting senior team members in deal structuring, deal negotiations, deal closure

6. Coordinating with all stakeholders and managing internal / external processes to conclude due diligence process and deal closure in efficient manner

7. Working with asset management team as and when required to support portfolio investment monitoring.

Skills & Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering from a tier 1 college / CA rank holder or the likes financial institution / related domain would be preferred

- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a financial institution / related domain would be preferred

- Be fluent in spoken and written English and having good understanding of financial concepts

- The candidate would be strong analytically and have the ability to handle multiple work mandates

- Familiarity with databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson One, Capital Line, etc. and tools such as MS Excel (advanced), MS PowerPoint and MS Word shall be an advantage.
