General Manager Manufacturing - (FMCG Food)

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and implement the action plan for improvement of performance and unit cost reduction and prepare presentations to present in review meetings.

- Engage in the Sales & Operational Planning process to coordinate with other functional areas and meet customer service levels.

- Coordinate the raw material and packing material inventory process with the purchasing department.

- Plan production line shifts based on capacity and demand analysis.

- Ensure dispatches of consignments per monthly domestic and export schedules without delay and liaise with the export team to coordinate dispatch shipments.

- Drive quality, process change, and lean initiatives to ensure sustained profitable operations in the unit.

- Liaise with corporate teams like supply chain, sales and marketing, finance, HR and also with Govt. officials, trade unions, vendors etc. to ensure smooth run of daily operations.

- Ensure daily ERP data entry is happening & verify the same on daily basis to reflect operating performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Candidates must have 15 - 20 years of experience in FMCG industry.

- Must have experience in managing multiple plants and multiple food products.

- Candidates with educational qualification in Food technology will be preferred

- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor, motivate, and guide team members toward achieving the company's objectives.

- Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external suppliers and customers.
