Konnect Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. was established along with Konnect Technologies to cater to International Bookkeeping to clients in US.
Konnect Consultancy is working with multiple verticals, such as e-commerce, IT & ITES. We introduced new service lines such as Taxation Services, also partnering with CPAs and Small business houses. We also cater Additional Services such as Hedge Fund, Equity Research, Financial Analysis, Credit Research services to Medium & Large enterprises.
Job Title: Senior Associate- Canadian Accountant

General Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate Canadian Accountant to oversee end to end client communication with from understanding the requirement till finalisation of return Senior Associate duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our tasks, with the knowledge of Canadian Accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Month-End/Year-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Accounting Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper accounting for all financial transactions.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations and assist with the preparation of tax returns (e.g., GST/HST, corporate taxes).
• Audit Preparation: Support the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Account Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making within the organization.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of [3+] years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Knowledge of Canadian Accounting Standards: Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).
• Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and filing requirements (GST/HST, income tax, etc.).
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
