Job Description
- Data Visualization and Storytelling : Create and manage insightful, reliable dashboards and visualizations, effectively communicating key data findings across the organization, including to company leadership.
- Lead Strategic Initiatives : Take ownership of both the strategic and execution aspects of key data-driven projects. Lead cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver impactful data initiatives that drive business outcomes.
- Technical Leadership : Maintain a deep understanding of data and analytics technologies, collaborating with the data engineering team to assess data availability, identify limitations, and optimize processes that support Finance s reporting and analytics needs. Guide the selection and implementation of technical solutions for various projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Lead and execute high-priority initiatives by working closely with both technical and non-technical teams, such as FPA, Accounting, Procurement, Data Engineering, Sales Operations, and Corporate Engineering.
- Over 10 years of experience in advanced data analytics or a related field, leveraging data to derive insights at industry-leading or rapidly growing companies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one additional data manipulation language (e.g., Python, R).
- Expertise in data storytelling and experience with at least one data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Looker).
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles and hands-on experience with ETL processes.
- Proven track record of using analytics to drive business strategy and improve performance.
- Familiarity with financial metrics, with a focus on topline metrics.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
- Degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
- Experience in the Technology or Software/SaaS industries.
- Experience managing high-performing data analytics teams.
