, we are looking for an experienced Manager of Technical Engineering to join our Digital Experience (DX) organization on a mission to help people live gracious, healthy, and sustainable lives.

The empowered and collaborative leader will focus on the integration of leading-edge technology and design to drive a Bold ambition for customers in North America.

This position of Manager, Technical Delivery Omnichannel Products plays a key role within Kohlers DX organization.

This leader will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing all technical and engineering resources for interconnected products and experiences.

This includes leading global multi-disciplinary teams developing cutting-edge technology across artificial intelligence, advanced software engineering, and immersive & interactive content through XR development frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be an inspiring people leader, a change agent, and a technology innovator, who understands the modern customer experiences they expect, and how to bring them to reality.

Provide strong proactive technical leadership across multiple complex digital products and initiatives.

Build strong global technical teams that proactively identify, communicate, and resolve issues with a strong focus on delivering quality to exceed committed deliverables.

Scale technical teams with the right resources to drive successful outcomes.

Lead a team of engineers across data science, XR, interactive & immersive content through advanced engineering concepts.

Identify opportunities for team training and skill advancement, leveraging skill diversity and growth.

Understand the connection of business and customer outcomes and digital technology.

Participate in creative solutioning, helping to bridge the gap between product management, design and engineering resources.

Recruit, grow and develop a team of passionate engineers, with growing expectations around individual ownership and impact.

Communicate with and influence a variety of audiences including product managers, designers, software engineers, analysts, business partners, stakeholders, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities.

Point of contact for senior leadership stakeholders and cross-functional teams of interconnected products.

Emulate strong management and leadership principles with the capacity to engage, motivate, mentor and coach teams distributed across various geographical locations.

Communicate and adapt presentations to various stakeholders regarding team objectives, strategic planning, product strategy, innovation, and overall results.

Act decisively and through strong collaboration to remove impediments for the team to deliver timely releases and quick resolution of impediments.

Drive creative solution architecture, design recommendations and steer product planning by incorporating Enterprise and Platform Architecture into product strategies.

Track and measure team performance set clear expectations and hold teams accountable commitments to outcomes.

Provide clear definitions of responsibilities at all levels within the team.

Partner closely with product, program, and platform teams to build strong effective relationships.

Act has hiring manager for engineering roles managing resources both internally and externally.

Drive product operating culture in engineering teams and incorporating Kohler agile practice to delivery.

The Person Qualifications/Competencies And Education/Experience.

A high degree of curiosity and creativity in mindset and practice.

Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative culture to deliver digital products and services and proficiency in collaboration tools like Git, JIRA, Confluence and CI/CD Pipelines.

Demonstrated track record of delivering interconnected digital products across complex channels and touchpoints, creating services and solutions in a product operating model.

Ability to share customer empathy and their behavior to drive new and innovative experience development.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences (including Sr business leaders) on business and technology related subject matter, including storytelling, and making the complex simple.

Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or imperfect data.

Education/Experience Requirements.

A bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

12 -15 years of experience in digital product engineering, software development, or a similar role.

Experience in leading and managing a team of digital software engineers with varying skillsets.

Experience in collaborating with program managers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define the platform vision, roadmap, and priorities.

Technical experience with API strategy, microservice architecture and modular componentized design using RESTful and GraphQL APIs ensuring scalability, security and documentation.

Proficiency in 3D Graphics Programming like WebGL, OpenGL or DirectX, Unity and a strong understanding 3D web frameworks like Three js or Babylon js .

A strong understanding of ML Frameworks, data science techniques and computer vision techniques.

Knowledge of best practices for platform engineering, such as code quality, performance, security, and scalability.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Experience in using agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and DevSecOps.
