Role & responsibilities

Senior Engineer Product Engineering

• Receive and analyze project request through proper channel, and estimate the scope, timelines, and any other specific requirements.
• Should be able to plan and come up with solutions on project requirements.
• Should be able to execute effective communication with customer and other interested parties
• Product knowledge, CAD, and other software tools,
• Must be expert in Creo surfacing module. Dedicated experience of more than 3-4 years in the surfacing module.
• Should be able to work with PLM (preferably Windchill).
• Must be able to work and create complex surface geometry.
• Preferred - Well aware about the Vitreous manufacturing process and tooling design.
• Manage Engineering change requests received through specific channel.
• Prepare Engineering 2D drawings and 3D models as per project requirement.
• Should be able to do basic design calculations required during the project execution.
• Should be able to analyze GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Actively involved with global teams in Design Reviews, DFMEA, DFX and problem-solving tools & processes.
• Ability to develop multiple concepts for a given problem statement and effective utilization of selection tools.
• Should be knowledgeable about reverse engineering methods.
• Must follow the set process of Quality and Delivery in line with ISO.
• Proven problem-solving skills, Risk identification & mitigation, maintain project documentation.
• Innovative thinker and solution finder. Can be able to think & execute out of the box ideas.
• Mostly work as an individual contributor and be a part of global & internal team.
• Actively highlight the suggestions on any improvements with detailed documentation.
• Should be flexible in managing the working hours according to customer needs.
• Ensure all Kohler core competencies are well understood and practiced.
• Generate and manage daily time logs and related reports,
• Ensure project status is up to date.
• Also update project information at the appropriate database.
• Assist guide junior associates and trainees in documentation.
