Team Lead - Node.js Development (5-8 yrs)

Job Description : Node.js Developer (Team lead).

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead Node.js Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will lead a team of talented developers, oversee the development of robust and scalable applications, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, set technical direction, and drive projects to successful completion.

Job Responsibilities :

- Develop, Test, and Operate Node.js based components and services.

- Guide and support the team in resolving service-related issues and technical challenges.

- Ensure quality deliverables by adhering to coding standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks.

- Participate in code reviews and the acceptance process to continuously improve methodologies and delivery.

- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot, and solve code-related issues as needed to maintain a high-quality codebase.

- Actively participate in the design and development of new features, adding exciting functionalities to existing products.

- Take ownership of technical tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery within the sprint cycle.

Required Skill :

- 5+ years of professional experience in Node.js development and JavaScript.

- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integrating Node.js applications with external services.

- Proficient with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) and database design principles.

- Good experience in frontend frameworks like Angular or React (preferred but not mandatory).

- Proficiency in Git for version control.

- In-depth knowledge of the Node.js runtime, including managing performance, asynchronous processes, and event-driven architecture.

- Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

- Ability to take full ownership of tasks and manage a development lifecycle independently.

- Familiarity with the entire web stack, including protocols, HTTP, security best practices, and web server optimization techniques.

- Strong debugging skills and familiarity with good coding practices and patterns.

Education Qualification :

- BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc in Computer Science or related fields.
