The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end involvement in Agile Sprints for Koch entities in Bangalore, India. His/her major responsibilities include developing and executing quality Automation scripts/methods using open-source technologies across multiple cloud-based SaaS products and integrating the tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline.

Koch Global Services India is being developed in India to extend Kochs IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. What You Will Do

• Participate as Daily scrum team member to plan and implement product features.
• Assist Software Engineers with documenting proper unit/contract test scenarios based on risk/value.

• Develop implementation details for executing Acceptance Test Specifications
• Plan, write and execute automated tests
• Follow established test processes and test methods to ensure efficient and effective testing

• Perform automated test execution within given phase of testing
• Analyze test coverage, execution results, prepare and publish key metrics identified for test automation
• Actively involve in Quality engineering transformation activities that can bring in efficiency and productivity improvements. Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized best practices
• Proactive, quick thinker and assertive. Flexible with the ability to work under pressure.
• Test Planning Reporting, Requirements and Defect Management
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and other team members to fully understand the requirements and ensure high quality of the implementations and changes to enterprise applications.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

4 to 7 years in API and UI test automation using Java, selenium and testNG (including framework creation, script creation, execution, review and reporting, debugging).

3+ years of experience QA Manual testing.

Good hands-on exposure on Rest Assured framework.

Visual Studio Code and Git experience.

Primary responsibility will be to automate API and UI Automation tasks and Functional Testing.

Strong testing background in API and UI automation testing

Strong knowledge in software quality assurance and testing life cycle activities and deliverables

Knowledgeable in Defect Management

Ability to participate in application brainstorming sessions, learn and retain application knowledge including business functionalities

Ability to handle multiple tasks, work with limited guidance in a team environment

Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and QA Processes

Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in ETL/Database testing
• Experience working with Python with selenium.
• Proficient in using AWS cloud services
• CI/CD pipeline integration experience
• Hands-on experience on Jmeter tool and exposure to agile environment
• Experience with customer releases using Feature Flags
• Understanding of performance testing.
