MuleSoft Engineer

The MuleSoft developer is responsible for developing integration solutions in the MuleSoft platform. The individual will work with architects and technical leads to deliver integration solutions in alignment with the business solution definition, systems architecture, and development standards for the organization. The developer will contribute to the continuous improvement of technical standards and best practices for all aspects of system integration, especially as it relates to MuleSoft and APIs in general.

This role is responsible for creating valuable solutions for Molex, responsible for providing an end-to-end implementation of technology solutions to solve customers requests as well as serve business needs and priorities. This role will be expected to continually learn about new applications, features and APIs which can be used for new solutions. They shall also identify any system deficiencies and leverage modern technologies to offer innovative and efficient solutions. He/She will be to treat customer needs as a shared responsibility, rather than individual requests and needs. The capabilities developed shall be maintained to remain relevant and current. This role requires strong skillset on MuleSoft Integration, and 24/7 support of the Molex middleware platform.

What You Will Do

• Working in an Agile team using either SCRUM or Kanban methodologies.
• Collaborate proactively with internal support teams, vendors, and customers for enhancements and break/fix support.
• Complete key project work and support activities
• Establish and follow best practices in the implementation and execution of support processes
• Develop modern API based integrations between enterprise applications and understanding of microservices
• Actively participate in code reviews and design discussions
• Refining our technology vision, roadmap, and strategies with your colleagues
• Learning about new applications, features, and APIs that can be used for new solution, Leveraging them to efficiently solve business problems.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 3-5 years of experience in Mulesoft API development required
• 5-7 years of IT experience is required.
• Designing and development of APIs using Mulesoft, centered around API-led connectivity and microservices
• Must have worked on enterprise integration patterns for SOA patterns such as Synchronous/Asynchronous communication.
• Must have experience and knowledge on API led architecture and design.
• Must have worked on any Message Queue platform preferably AnyPoint MQ
• Experience with the 3-layered approach to API-led connectivity with Experience, Process, and System APIs
• Experience with Mulesoft DataWeave to create reusable transformations using functions, variables, and operators
• Enterprise system integration background with Web Services and ETL
