Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues, working closely with development and other teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.. Develop and maintain operational documentation, including incident response plans and knowledge base articles.. Implement and enhance monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.. Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team to automate routine operational tasks and improve overall system efficiency.. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues.. Conduct regular performance assessments and capacity planning for the Kafka infrastructure..

Requirements. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.. 7+ years of hands-on experience in operations and support roles, with a focus on Kafka.. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle L3 support responsibilities effectively.. Proven experience in automation, scripting, and tooling for operational tasks.. Familiarity with configuration management tools, such as Ansible.. Experience with incident management and response in a production environment.. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.. Desired Skills and Experience:. Previous experience in a senior or lead operations role..
