Tableau Developer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Tableau Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data visualization, reporting, and analytics using Tableau and other BI tools. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into insightful visualizations.
• Optimize Tableau performance by improving data extracts, queries, and dashboard responsiveness.
• Work with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and storytelling using Tableau.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tableau-related performance issues.
• Maintain and update existing Tableau dashboards and reports based on business needs.
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to integrate multiple data sources into Tableau.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-10 years of experience in Tableau development and BI reporting.
• Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Tableau dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Python, R, or other data analytics tools.
• Exposure to cloud-based BI solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
