Auction Head

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure regulatory/RBI compliance in all areas (e.g., newspaper ads, registered letter notifications to clients, etc.)
• Comply with laws and statutes pertaining to gold auctions
• Determine the auction location and set up the necessary equipment for the auction process.
• Auction schedules should be periodically approved by management and communicated to all bidders and approved auctioneers.
• General oversight of lot generation, gold packet transfer, etc.
• Putting the bid and bidders together
• Complete oversight of auction settlement, invoice, EMD return, auctioneer's payments, auction revenues, auction surplus & deficit, etc.
• Make sure to keep pre/post auction documentation for statutory/RBI audit.
• Coordinating across departments to ensure seamless operation
