Music Composer

We are looking for a talented and intuitive Music Composer to create soothing and immersive soundscapes specifically designed for yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how music impacts relaxation and focus, with experience in creating compositions that evoke tranquility, balance, and introspection.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create original music pieces tailored to yoga flows, meditation sessions, and mindfulness practices.
2. Design ambient soundscapes, including natural sounds (e.g., waterfalls, birdsong, wind) and gentle instrumentation.
3. Utilize calming tempos, harmonious melodies, and resonant frequencies to promote relaxation and focus.
4. Collaborate with yoga instructors, meditation guides, or wellness professionals to understand specific requirements for classes, events, or digital content.
5. Adapt compositions for different session types, including dynamic yoga flows, restorative practices, or guided meditations.
6. Record, edit, and mix compositions to professional audio quality standards.
7. Use tools and effects such as reverb, delay, and binaural beats to enhance the listening experience.
8. Ensure the music integrates seamlessly with voiceovers or other multimedia components.
9. Experiment with new sounds, instruments, or techniques to enhance the meditative experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in composing music for relaxation, yoga, meditation, or similar fields.
• Proficiency with music production software.
• Familiarity with ambient, world music, and traditional instruments used in meditation (e.g., Tibetan bowls, flutes, sitar).
• Understanding of how music influences mood, brain activity, and relaxation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to capture specific emotional tones through music.
