Java, Struts-Flexible For future onsite (long term/short time)

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Java Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience. The role involves end-to-end software development, deployment, and production support, with opportunities to work on global projects. The candidate must be adaptable, flexible, and willing to work UK hours initially and travel onsite if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement bug fixes, develop new functionalities, and enhance existing features.
• Work with Sybase/SQL for database design, queries, and optimizations.
• Build user interfaces using ReactJS, HTML, JSP/Servlets, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Conduct unit testing and peer reviews to ensure robust and error-free code.
• Manage deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems, supporting recent releases.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and multi-threading.
• Experience with Struts1/2, Spring (including microservices), and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in Sybase/SQL, with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS, HTML, JSP/Servlets, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks for unit testing.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience with tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, or similar for build automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to optimize application performance and database queries.
