Fund Accounting - NAV- Chennai

Role & responsibilities

• Process and reconcile client securities instructions, cancellations, and amendments related to exchange traded products for funds on accounting platform in an accurately and timely manner within the NAV deadlines.
• Proactive follow-up for trade files and preparation of trade packs for the respective funds. Maintain daily and follow the daily check list. Answer queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Apply fund accounting trade rules and internal procedures to accommodate client needs/ ensure procedures.
• Client Contact: liaise directly with clients for instruction-related issues in defined scenarios. Master the internal contingency procedures and acquire a general awareness of BNYMs contingency measures. Serve as a reference point for the team and other departments.
• The individual has should understand financial services industry and its various components. Experience in Trade processing or securities operations will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum Education: - 1. Graduate; 2. Preferably B.com or Economics
• Minimum 1- 3-year experience in Trade Processing or Fund Accounting and exposure in
Financial Industry is Preferable
• Good written and oral English communication skills required.
