Job description.
Manager - HR & IR.
No. of Openings: 1 (Bangalore-KA).
Qualification: MBA in HR/MSW is preferred.
Required experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as IR/HR manager, Manufacturing and distribution sector experience is preferred.
- We are looking for HR Managers to lead our IR/HR teams.
- You will take ownership of all IR/HR matters from recruitment to fixation of KPIs, performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, learning and development.
- To perform well in this role, you should have experience as an HR Manager, and knowledge of Labour Laws, Industrial relations, compliances, and other legal requirements for personnel management in this role.
- You will be reporting to the CFO and the Management team.
Your key responsibilities include the following:.
Management:
- Improve the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Manage PAN India HR Operations, develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department.
- Co-ordination with HODs, employees, management to understand company's requirements, required tracking-monitoring and approval process etc.
- Interaction with Audit team & providing all required information.
Recruitment:
- Support HR team by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program, counselling team on candidate selection, conducting exit interviews, and recommending changes.
- Verifying the offer letter & Appointment letters before issuing employees.
- Develop, update, and conduct induction program for new employees.
Compliances:
- Ensure statutory compliances, including factory's act, labor laws and other regulatory matters by implementing applicable laws.
- Work with government departments, as required, to address any related issues, and get necessary information, forms, GOs, notification and update on applicable processes.
- Tracking changes to applicable minimum wages act and ensure compliance.
- Filing of returns required under various laws of respective states in India for all its Branches, Head Office, Factory, etc.
Employee Welfare:
- Coordinate with Insurance companies Medical Claims, employee enrollment under various polices e.
- Issue confirmation letters, relieving, and experience letters etc.
- Bring grievances or other issues to management's notice and suggest reasonable solutions.
- Track absenteeism, sick leave misuse, low productivity, misconduct, and other harmful behavior.
- Prepare notices, as needed, for employee separation, show cause, performance or misconduct warnings and related documentation.
- Responsible for processing full & final settlement.
Vendor Management:
- Review, manage, develop contracts with vendors to provide services, such as temporary employees, security services etc.
- Plan, develop new vendors, obtain, and analyze competitive terms.
- Collect, scrutinize invoices, check compliances with ESI-PF rules, and supporting documents from vendors, contract, and casual labors and any other miscellaneous expense of HR department etc.
Payroll:
- Ensure attendance record update, leave summary, cross verify details before the salary payment etc.
- Timely process salary, bonus & other terminal payments.
- Additionally, you must be flexible to take up work assigned by your manager, CFO or management.
- You will be expected to travel to branches and government departments as required.

The R&D team is developing new cultivars to increase yields, reduce water consumption and increase farmer profitability in a sustainable environment. Our in-house IT (software development) team has developed applications for digitalization of agriculture, automation of business processes, and manufacturing planning.
