Manager - Instrumentation Design

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of enquiry specifications of electrical and instrumentation items like motors, MCC/LT MCC/PDB, PLC, purge type control panels, instruments, junction boxes, power and instrumentation cables etc as per IS/IEC standard and customer specification ensuring safety as a prime concern..
• Review of vendor offers and drawings/documents of above electrical and instrumentation items.
• Selection and/or review of instrumentations as per client specification and process conditions. Accordingly Preparation and review of instrument data sheet in ISA/client format.
• Preparation of DCS Engg. documents like I/O list, Logic diagrams, write-up, cause and effect chart etc.
• Review of Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P& ID) as per ISA 5.1 format.
• Preparation and review of Bill of Materials in ERP system.
