Sales Engineer

• Developing long-term relationships with clients by satisfying their requirements, addressing their queries and frequent communication.
• Maintain and update the client database by establishing contacts in the existing client list and developing new clients via calls and visits.
• Regular Follow-up with clients for tracking the progress of various enquiries, quotations, upcoming project progress, technical discussions, commercial negotiations, etc. via calls and visits
• Study of the clients processes and issues faced, equipment applications, techno-commercial quotations, competitors and responding to them with possible solutions with the help of seniors and Design team.
• Participate in Exhibitions, seminars and focus on generating leads and gather references. Converting these leads and references into enquiries and orders.
• Forecasting of orders on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. Tracking of Upcoming projects via various sources, following-up with client, consultant, etc.
• Arrange Presentations at client sites and invite important clients for factory visits whenever necessary
• Planning of sales visits in the assigned territory/region considering 3 visits per day with 16-18 days on field per month to generate leads, giving Introduction/presentation, follow-up of enquiries, resolve technical queries, have commercial negotiations, etc.
• Scheduling and prioritising of daily calls, weekly & monthly visits in assigned territory/region
• On time reporting to senior management regarding Calls, Visits, Leads, Upcoming Projects, etc.
• Coordination with Design, Estimation & Production teams for smooth operation in order conversion and execution and resolving clients queries
