Job Description

  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, including retailers, distributors, and wholesalers.
    • Pitch private label products to new clients, understanding their business needs, and tailoring solutions accordingly.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients to secure business deals.
  2. Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow private label business, increase market share, and drive revenue.
    • Work with marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure the timely delivery of private label products to clients.
    • Set sales targets and KPIs, and track performance against these goals.
    • Collaborate with clients to ensure that private label products align with their brand vision, quality standards, and consumer demand.
  3. Product Development & Customization:
    • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to create or customize products under a private label.
    • Provide input on product design, packaging, and specifications that meet the clients needs and preferences.
    • Ensure that private label products are manufactured and delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  4. Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
    • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients and key stakeholders.
    • Handle contract negotiations and ensure all terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms, are favorable and clear.
  5. Customer Support & Issue Resolution:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the sales and post-sales phases.
    • Address any concerns or issues that clients may have with private label products, ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams.
    • Ensure that client feedback is captured and communicated to the relevant departments for continuous product improvement.
  6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Coordinate with internal teams like marketing, product development, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth execution of private label contracts.
    • Monitor product inventory, production schedules, and quality checks to meet client expectations.
    • Work with the marketing team to promote private label products and align on branding strategies.
  7. Reporting & Analytics:
    • Regularly update sales forecasts, progress reports, and pipeline statuses to management.
    • Use CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the private label sales process.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in sales, with a focus on private label sales, B2B sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in relevant Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven Track Record: Success in managing and closing sales deals, meeting revenue targets, and growing new business.
