Job Description :
As a software Quality Assurance Engineer at Kickdrum, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, performance and reliability of our software products. Through effective quality assurance strategies, you will work closely with our development and customer teams to identify and address software issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria for software features.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software lifecycle by providing feedback and recommendations.
- Work with external vendors and third-party tools when necessary to augment testing efforts
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive test reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively participate in agile development processes and provide valuable inputs during sprint planning, standups and retrospective meetings.
- Collaborate with customer teams for test case generation and provide training on the finished project items
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Hands-on experience with basic automation testing and frameworks.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) for creating or enhancing automation scripts.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred but not mandatory).
- Willingness to learn and adopt advanced testing methodologies and tools.
