About the job:
- The Manager Admin oversees the renovation of branches and manages the installation and maintenance of essential systems like water, sewage, electrical, civil, and piping.
- This role involves liaising with HODs, principal suppliers, vendors, architects, and consultants to ensure smooth operations and compliance with state regulations.
- The Manager Admin handles registration, renewal, and amendments under state acts and manages infrastructure for 2, 3, and 4-wheeler sales and service.
- Responsibilities include acquiring necessary licenses, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining safety and health standards across showrooms, service stations, and the head office.
Licencing and Registration:
- Manage the application, renewal, and amendment of licences under various state acts.
- Oversee the inspection processes by factory inspectors and ensure compliance with the Factory Act.
- Obtain and renew BBMP trade licences.
- Ensure timely lease agreement renewals and compliance.
- Obtain and maintain Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) licences.
- Handle e-Manifest tracking for hazardous waste as per regulations.
- Manage Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) requirements.
Regulatory Compliance and Inspection:
- Ensure all showrooms and service stations comply with traffic regulations.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities for inspections and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
Facility Management:
- Oversee procurement processes for all company facilities.
- Manage maintenance activities for the head office, showrooms, and service stations.
- Ensure the maintenance and operational readiness of fire extinguishers across all locations.
- Manage uniform procurement and distribution.
- Ensure security and housekeeping services are efficiently maintained.
- Implement preventive maintenance measures for DG sets in all showrooms and service stations.
- Ensure proper lift maintenance and compliance with safety regulations.
Health and Safety:
- Implement industrial relations management policies, focusing on workplace safety and health.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement preventive measures to minimize workplace hazards.
Legal and Compliance:
- Handle all company legal cases, ensuring timely response and compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage the preparation and submission of necessary returns to regulatory authorities.
Miscellaneous:
- Monitor and report on traffic congestion around all showrooms.
- Oversee the sales and service processes for 2, 3, and 4-wheeler vehicles, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Construction, Renovation and Maintenance:
- Oversee the new Showroom construction, renovation of new and existing branches.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of water, sewage, electrical, civil, and piping systems.
- Ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and meet safety standards.
Liaison and Coordination:
- Coordinate with HODs and representatives of principal suppliers.
- Liaise and interact with external vendors, architects, and consultants to ensure successful completion of daily tasks.
- Maintain effective communication channels for smooth project execution.
Breakdown Systems Management:
- Maintain and monitor breakdown systems to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the likelihood of system failures.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Handle new approvals and renewals of registrations under various state acts, including KIADB, BBMP, and Panchayath.
- Ensure all construction and renovation activities comply with local and state regulations.
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the infrastructure for 2, 3, and 4-wheeler sales and service.
- Ensure facilities are adequately equipped and maintained to support sales and service operations.
- Coordinate with sales and service teams to address any infrastructure-related issues promptly.
- Master's in Operations/ Bachelor's / Diploma in Civil Engineer.
- Experience - 10 to 16 years of Experience
- At least 4 to 5 years of proven managerial experience.
- Proven experience in administrative management, infrastructure management, and sales and service operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound knowledge of sales and service processes, customer relationship management, and financial management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
