Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement best practices for data management, including data quality, data governance, and data security.
• Optimize and manage data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes.
• Optimize and improve existing data workflows and processes.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of data systems.
• Implement best practices for data governance and compliance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and managing ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
