Python Developer - Backend Development (6-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise systems with extensive data processing requirements

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions

- Utilize Python, React, and other relevant technologies to build scalable and efficient applications

- Work with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL to manage data

- Leverage cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, to deploy and manage applications

- Adhere to modern engineering practices, including code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous integration, scalability, and security

- Apply Agile methodologies to manage software development projects

- Optimize application performance and identify areas for improvement

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

- Effectively manage client expectations and deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements :

- Degree in computer science or related field

- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on complex enterprise systems and data processing

- Proficiency in Python, React, and other relevant application development technologies

- Demonstrated experience with relational databases like SQL Server and PostgreSQL

- Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, with a preference for AWS

- Familiarity with modern engineering practices, including code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous integration, scalability, and security

- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and performance optimization tools

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proven track record of developing innovative and efficient solutions

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage client expectations

- Strong focus on customer service and quality

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse team settings

- Prior experience leading a small team is advantageous

Mandatory Skills/Tools :

- 5+ years of experience in Python for backend development

- AWS Services (Lambda, SageMaker, API Gateway)

- FastAPI experience

- API Development (REST/GraphQL)
