BIM Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

1. Ensure that all information related to Design/ Contracts/ Estimation/ Scheduling and On site Contract administration is processed via CDE ( Common Data Environment): In our case it is BIM Docs/ Autodesk Construction cloud

2. Ensure requisite training- Docs to external stakeholders- Contractors/ vendors

3. Review and subsequent uploading of Site compliance information ( necessary and sufficient)for Bill processing.

4. Monitorand Drive Change management process: For any changes during the project execution stage.

5. Coordinate with 3D ( project Architect) 4D ( Planner) and 5D ( Estimator) to ensure that latest data is available on the BIM platform: Docs and updated Model/drawings with regards to work progress enabling creation of a Digital twin.

6. Review and Monitor Deviation analysis : Model data vis-a-vis Point cloud data from Scanner to ensure Quality control (deviation analysis)

7. Coordinate with Billing for any Interface/ data deficiency issues in conjunction with SAP.

8. To ensure that BIM enabled processes are followed at the Execution site for all sub-roles and functions ( Quality checks using BIM Field/ stores/ safety etc..) in letter and in spirit

Preferred candidate profile:

BE Civil with min.6 to 8 years experience, with actual on site experience in handling Civil/Civil Finishing / MEP activities. Post graduate qualification with a Construction Management background shall be an added advantage.

Experience in Software usage :

Good knowledge of Revit, autocad and MS Project/ Primavera. Working knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
