Social Media Manager Role for Keystone Fitness Clubs


(Craigieburn & Upcoming Truganina Location)

Role Overview:

The Social Media Manager will oversee and implement strategies to increase brand awareness, drive member engagement, and grow the online presence of Keystone Fitness Clubs for both the Craigieburn location and the upcoming Truganina location. The manager will create compelling content, manage campaigns, and track performance to optimize results while effectively promoting both locations.

Key Responsibilities:


Content Creation & Management:


  • Develop a unified monthly content calendar for both Craigieburn and Truganina locations, ensuring tailored posts to highlight specific events, promotions, and progress stories for each location.
  • Create high-quality content, including graphics, videos, reels, and member transformations, while maintaining a cohesive brand voice.
  • Highlight offerings, such as new gym equipment, class schedules, personal training promotions, and opening updates for Truganina.
  • Post consistently on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok with a mix of organic and strategic promotional content.

Community Engagement:


  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions for both locations within 24 hours.
  • Build relationships with members online by reposting user-generated content, celebrating milestones, and encouraging members to share their fitness journey.
  • Engage with local Craigieburn and Truganina audiences to create a sense of community and excitement, particularly leading up to the Truganina location launch.

Growth & Outreach:

  • Implement strategies to grow social media followers across both locations by 10% monthly (organic and paid).
  • Collaborate with local influencers, trainers, and fitness ambassadors to promote each club's offerings.
  • Generate excitement for the Truganina opening through countdown campaigns, sneak peeks, and exclusive pre-opening offers.

Paid Advertising Campaigns:

  • Develop and manage targeted ad campaigns to promote Craigieburn memberships, events, and personal training offers while generating early sign-ups and leads for the Truganina location launch.
  • Optimize ad budgets for strong ROI and cost-effective lead generation.

Performance Analysis:


  • Track performance for both locations, focusing on audience growth, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Provide detailed monthly performance reports with actionable insights for improvement.

  • Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with gym managers, trainers, and staff at Craigieburn and Truganina to highlight events, success stories, and promotions.
  • Work closely with marketing for pre-opening campaigns for Truganina, ensuring a strong online presence before launch day.

Client Retention Tasks:


  • Missing Person Report: Identify and report members who havent attended for the last 3 days.
  • Retention Master Sheet: Update and track member retention data for both locations.
  • Debit Payment Report: Prepare a weekly report highlighting missed or failed payments.
  • Weekly Membership Report: Share details of members whose memberships have ended with the Gym Manager for follow-up.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

Follower Growth:

  • Target: Increase Instagram and Facebook followers by 10% per month across both locations.

Engagement Rate:

  • Target: Maintain an engagement rate of 4-6% on posts, stories, and reels for Craigieburn and Truganina pages.

Lead Generation:

  • Target: Generate 100-150 leads per month per location through paid and organic campaigns.
  • Target for Truganina: Secure 100+ pre-opening sign-ups leading up to the launch

Content Consistency:

  • Target:
  • 7-14 feed posts per week for each location.
  • Daily Instagram/Facebook stories for updates, behind-the-scenes, and member engagement.
  • 7-14 reels/videos per week, including Truganina pre-opening sneak peeks.

Response Time:

  • Target: Respond to all inquiries, comments, and DMs within 24 hours for both pages.

User-Generated Content:

  • Target: Share at least 5 user-generated content posts per month for each location.

Campaign ROI:

  • Target: Achieve a 3x return on ad spend for paid campaigns promoting memberships, class offers, and pre-launch specials.

Pre-Opening Hype for Truganina:

  • Drive early sign-ups through exclusive promotions, giveaways, and countdown campaigns.
  • Grow awareness through influencer partnerships and collaborations with local businesses.

Weekly Reporting:

  • Submit clear and concise performance reports for both locations by every Monday of the week detailing growth, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.

Tools & Skills Required:

  • Platforms: Proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Understanding of Gohighlevel ( Desirable)
  • Content Tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design/video editing tools.
  • Analytics Tools: Insights, Google Analytics, or Sprout Social.
  • Strong communication, copywriting, and project management skills.
