Business Head - Gold loans

Position Title: Business Head - Gold Loan Vertical
Department: Gold Loan Business

Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Postgraduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent.
• A background in Finance or Banking is preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 10 years in managing a gold loan business or related verticals in NBFCs, banks, or financial institutions.
• Proven track record in handling business development, operations, and team leadership.
• Experience in market expansion and managing P&L responsibilities for a business unit.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent business acumen and decision-making ability.
• In-depth knowledge of gold loan products, loan operations, and risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Deep understanding of the market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory framework in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
• Strong network and relationships with local stakeholders, agents, and partners.
• The Business Head will be expected to travel across Karnataka , AP & TS to manage operations, business development, and customer relationships.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the business and the customers.
