Deputy General Manager - Production - Chemicals (15-20 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all production activities to meet daily production targets.

- Plan and ensure optimal raw material usage, meeting standard consumption norms.

- Coordinate with departmental heads for smooth manufacturing operations.

- Ensure quality and yield standards for all manufactured products.

- Review batch production records and SOPs to ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures.

- Investigate and report critical deviations and ensure necessary calibrations are performed and documented.

- Approve production validation documents and provide training to production personnel.

- Review team performance and ensure adherence to safety standards.

- Maintain safety protocols within the plant and ensure a safe working environment.

Criteria:

- Experience: Minimum 10-15 years in production, with 3-4 years at AGM/DGM level.

- Qualification: PG/M.Sc. Organic Chemistry or B.E. Chemical (No distance learning).

- Experience managing at least two production blocks for 5-7 years.

- Hands-on experience with USFDA audits as a plant/block head.

Age: Under 50 years.

- Knowledge of safety, cGMP, and API manufacturing processes.

- Hands-on experience in RMC reduction, cycle time reduction, and batch manufacturing.

- Experience managing a team of 35-40 people.
