Role & responsibilities:
1. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Ensuring that the loan origination system is functioning properly and continuously. Monitor the system for any potential issues, such as performance degradation or failures and ensure that the system is always available to users.
2. User Support and Troubleshooting: Providing technical support to loan officers, underwriters and other users of the LOS. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the software such as bugs, access issues or integration problems.
3. System Configuration and Customization: Assisting with the configuration of the LOS based on the needs of the organization. This can involve customizing workflows, rules and templates to ensure that the system meets the specific requirements of the institution.
4. Training: Educating staff members on how to use the loan origination system efficiently. This could include onboarding new employees, conducting workshops or providing ongoing training sessions for current users.
5. Data Management: Ensuring that all loan data is captured accurately in the system. This includes overseeing the process of importing, exporting and maintaining loan application data in the system.
6. System Updates and Upgrades: Coordinating and implementing software updates, patches and new versions of the LOS to ensure it remains up to date with the latest features, security improvements and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaboration with IT and Development Teams: Working closely with the internal IT department or external vendors to resolve technical issues, implement new system features or upgrade the system as needed.
8. Reporting and Analytics: Generating reports and analyzing data from the loan origination system to help identify trends, opportunities for improvement or potential bottlenecks in the loan process.
9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the loan origination system complies with relevant financial regulations and industry standards, such as data protection laws, anti-money laundering guidelines, etc.
10. System Testing: Performing testing on new functionalities or updates before they are deployed to ensure they do not cause issues or disruptions to users.
The role requires a mix of technical expertise (to understand and support the software) and business knowledge (to understand the loan process and ensure the system meets the needs of the organization).
Required Skills:
Candidates with minimum 2Years of Branch Banking Experience are preferred.
