Associate: Marketing

Reporting: GM- Events & Marketing

Position Summary:

This role will be responsible for KDEM's marketing and events team, which is the backbone of KDEMs focus areas. The position would require the candidate to work to further the goal and aim of the brand Karnataka and its clusters, which drives investments, talent, and the overall economy.
It requires the incumbent to lead with zeal and passion and create a growth track record across all focus areas of the organisation.
Build relationships & partnerships with industry, accelerators, corporate, sponsors, industry partners, academia, training institutions, media houses, GCCs, investors and entrepreneurial networks to achieve and enable digital growth.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage daily administrative tasks of the team to ensure all focus areas run smoothly.
• Gather and analyse websites, social media, CRM, etc.
• Assist with organising events, conferences, webinars, meetings etc.
• Coordinate with the design and content teams to create all communication collaterals (e.g., brochures, posts, newsletters, etc.)
• Keep organised records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns/events, etc.
• Work with teams.
• Part of the growth story for the company branding, outreach & tangible business impacts

Other Skills:

• Proficiency in the Kannada language will be an added advantage.
• Proven work experience as a Marketing Associate or similar role
• Knowledge & hands-on experience in marketing digital tools and techniques
• Hands-on experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
• Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, web analytics and Google AdWords
• Well-versed with WhatsApp, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook campaigns.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build and grow relationships
• Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
• Proactive, out of box thinker. Goal-oriented & Fast learner.
• Must be a team player.
• Aware of New Edge /Emerging technologies in play
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and handling a variety of responsibilities.
