It Support Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Management:

• Monitor, maintain, and improve IT systems and infrastructure.
• Upgrade hardware, software, servers, and networks to meet organizational requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot network components, including LAN, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless access points.
• Administer Office 365 tools, including email, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Implement and manage data backup and recovery solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry regulations.

Technical Support:

• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems to minimize downtime.
• Train users on IT systems and best practices.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, incidents, and procedures.

System Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance on servers, workstations, and other IT systems.
• Manage software licenses, SSL certificates, and domain renewals.
• Deploy and update antivirus, endpoint protection, and other security tools.

Vendor and Asset Management:

• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and maintenance of IT assets.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to optimize costs and ensure quality.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in Office 365, ticketing systems, and backup tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
