Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced AGM for Talent Acquisition specializing in Leadership Hiring. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in recruiting senior and executive-level talent within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industries. This role will be pivotal in driving Syngene's talent acquisition strategy by identifying, attracting, and onboarding top-tier leadership candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership Hiring: Develop and implement strategies for attracting and hiring senior executives, directors, and other leadership roles critical to Syngene's growth and operations.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to understand organizational needs and develop comprehensive talent acquisition plans aligned with business objectives.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including networking, direct sourcing, referrals, and partnerships with executive search firms, to identify and engage passive and active candidates.
- Selection and Assessment: Lead the selection process, including screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates to ensure alignment with Syngene's culture, values, and job requirements.
- Employer Branding: Enhance Syngene's employer brand within the industry by promoting our culture, values, and career opportunities through various channels and events.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor practices, and market dynamics to advise senior management on talent market conditions and recruitment strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand their hiring needs, provide regular updates, and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Compliance and Process Improvement: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations and continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in HR preferred.
10-15 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on leadership hiring within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industries.
Proven track record of successfully recruiting and placing senior executives and leaders.
Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and levels of the organization.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
