Job Description
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc)
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible to manage infrastructure at scale
- Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and more
- Ensure cost optimization and performance tuning of cloud resources
- Implement Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized solutions using Docker
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security of AWS environments by implementing industry best practices
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand system requirements and design cloud architecture solutions
- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Handle backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance with disaster recovery protocols
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a DevOps culture
- Academic Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant certifications is a plus

Required Skills:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS
- Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodeDeploy, etc)
- Expertise in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Advanced skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation
- Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Excellent knowledge of cloud security practices (IAM policies, encryption, security groups)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and secure cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Preferred Skills (Optional): AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification
- Experience with multi-cloud setups (Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with serverless architectures (Lambda) and microservices
- Experience in cost management and optimization on AWS platforms
